Two New Categories: E-mail and Off the Topic
Occasionally, I like to analyze how I’m using categories and whether I need to do any rearranging or make new ones. I added Off the Topic and E-mail Friday based on subject areas of previous posts. Most of these refiled posts come out of the Unfiled Posts department, which is where items that don’t fit any of the categories go. I had quite a few posts in there on e-mail and spam e-mail, thus the E-mail category. Off-topic posts now have their own category as a way for me to label things that don’t directly fit in with the nature of this blog. Many of them, like the political coverage I did last fall and winter, date before I had other blogs on which to record and share those activities and thoughts.
