Rhode Island Reporter Faces Jail Time for Protecting Source

explains an Associated Press article about shield laws in light of Jim Taricani’s efforts to protect a source. An investigative reporter with News Channel 10 in Rhode Island, Taricani has decided not to reveal who gave him a videotape of a city official taking a bribe.
