The Dowbrigade on Categories
The Dowbrigade writes about the challenges of categorization on blogs, especially when blog platforms aren’t conducive to robust category systems.
I’ve been considering buidling some hierarchical categories in Manila manually, like Blogging–Corporations or Blogging within Libraries, then depicting them nested in the category list. To the user, it would look nested. The software shouldn’t care whether it actually is or not.
I just haven’t made the effort to dig back through 800-900 posts to reclassify them.
