Where Did That Post Go?
Here we go again on another quest to find a blog post. Search engines, categories, and patience can only get us so far. I remember reading it. The blogger remembers writing it. Why can neither of us find it now? One of my fears, of course, is that the server ate it and no one noticed. How many more posts have magically gone into the void while no one was watching? Every time I think I’ve written something, but I can’t find it, I ask myself if I’m absolutely sure I didn’t write it, knowing it’s very possible the server munched and it vanished. It’s like those lost socks … I wonder if my Mom has a shoebox full of unmated blog posts somewhere …
