Note to Self: Self, Don’t Sing so Loudly When Listening to the Radio at Work
I usually listen to CDs when I work, but I’ve been in kind of a slump recently and I haven’t been playing them. When I worked on Saturday, I needed to know when the football game was over, so I dug out the radio and turned it on. Seeing it there on Monday made me want to listen to it again, so on it went. And Tuesday, too. And now Wednesday, also. For some reason, I find it more stimulating than CDs, perhaps because it is more random and has a far wider selection of songs than my meager collection. I guess I picked a good station because it seems like I was always thinking, “Oh, that’s a great song!” I caught myself singing along a little too loudly once or thrice. And I just have to move to some songs. Maybe listening to the radio at work isn’t such a good idea.
