Greater Toronto Area Bloggers & SLA
We bloggers who are going to the Special Libraries Association 2005 Annual Conference should definitely try to hook up with the Greater Toronto Area Bloggers or at least some of their members while we’re in Toronto. Because my time at SLA will be limited again this year, I’m thinking about trying to set something up for Friday evening, June 3. Interested?
Yeah, it’s early to talk about this stuff, but when I’m working on the continuing education course about blogging, I’ll forget about this until Thursday, June 2.

Jessica,
Would non-bloggers who spend inordinate amounts of time reading blogs be welcome to tag along?
I really want to participate in the CE course if my schedule allows it, I’ll know more after the first of the year.
Back to paper writing. One down, one to go (due Friday) and then I’m done, done, done. Yeah!
P.S. Was the “you finished your paper yet?” tag for me? or is my head getting slightly too large:)

J: Many of us won’t make it to Toronto until Sat afternoon or evening, June 4th. Who are the Greater Toronto Area Bloggers? Librarians, or just the whole gaggle of TO bloggers?

The Greater Toronto Area Bloggers is a group of bloggers in the Toronto area. I’ve met a few of them since I’ve been blogging. I think meeting with them is a great opportunity for some of us conference attendees who blog to meet up with some other kinds of bloggers. Quite a few of us blogging librarians who will be at the conference have talked about doing some blogging related activity. This is my proposal for doing that.
I would like to meet with the GTABloggers in any case. Whether any other SLA attendees come along is another matter. My invitation is open to those who might be interested.
