Claiming Multiple Feeds from a Blog via Feedster

I learned that because this blog has multiple feeds (i.e. there are feeds for each of the departments), I might need to claim each of those feeds individually in Feedster. Recently, I retrieved a feed from one of those departments that has a problem photo next to it. I realized then, Feedster might have given it and all the other feeds from this blog their own unique identities. I dread claiming all of the feeds for each category, mostly because it’ll mean my blog will have 18 posts saying “No Need to Click Here – I’m just claiming my feed at Feedster.” How boring is that?

I’m approaching this as if it were a feature and not a bug, but perhaps it’s something Feedster could improve. Or perhaps there’s something quirky with these Harvard-hosted weblogs that means our feeds don’t appear as feeds from the same source. Maybe other bloggers with multiple feeds only have to make a claim once and it works for all of their blogs’ feeds.
