NEASIST Copyright Program

I have a ‘net connection for the time being, so I might try to blog live notes for this NEASIST program about copyright law in the digital environment.

Jonathan Zittrain gave a very humorous presentation.

Wendy Seltzer talked about the Electronic Frontier Foundation’s activities and recent copyright developments.

Siva Vaidhyanathan of New York University broached the issue of groups having rights to their cultural things, like language.

Hal Abelson talked about OpenCourseWare, DSpace, copyright in scholarly publishing, and Creative Commons.

A few laptops were in the audience. Definitely nothing like this past weekend.
