EchoDitto

I met Joshua of EchoDitto at the Votes, Bits, & Bytes conference and promised him I’d blog about EchoDitto because their work might interest some of you. They specialize in helping “non-profits, corporations, political candidates, elected officials and political organizations” harness Internet technologies, like wikis and weblogs, to work to their advantage, whether it’s raising funds or just communicating better with clients. From what I remember, they can do everything from heavy-duty installations to advising.

When I learned about what they do, I thought “I should hook them up with Rebecca MacKinnon because of her work with BloggerCorps.” And since then, I’ve completely forgotten to mention it to her. Even though I think BloggerCorps seeks to hook newbies up with experienced bloggers without the exchange of money, I thought EchoDitto might at least be a good organization to know about. Sometimes people would rather pay for services and have contracts than to engage someone on a volunteer basis.
