NY Times Honors 27 Librarians

This news is old, but I hadn’t noticed it before. The New York Times recognized 27 librarians for outstanding public service earlier this month. Honorees receive $2500 and a plaque. The press release doesn’t specify why The New York Times chose these librarians over the other 1400+ nominees from around the United States.
