Wikipedia or the Wikipedia?

After giving an update about recent Wikipedia news, sj, who wonders how his feed magically became known as the “Wiki Hut of Horror,” explores whether Wikipedia/the Wikipedia should be referred to as Wikipedia or the Wikipedia. I prefer Wikip myself, but have been told that’s improper.
