Ha! Just after posting this list about technology, I serendipitously discovered these words of wisdom from Jared Dunn:
"… why doesn’t anyone step back and try to put any of [the new technology tools] into more of a context of how we live our lives and what we value? To meld the tools of the future with the vast and vital aggregate of the past? And especially, why are so few of the people developing the tools and churning out the novelty thinking this way? Academics and people like me can bloviate all day about this sort of stuff, but it won’t really mean anything until techies and geeks start getting serious and taking a broader cultural view."
