Apple Sues Bloggers for Leaking News about Products
The Berkman Center for Internet & Society reports Apple is taking action against bloggers who, before MacWorld, revealed secrets about products to be announced at the conference. mbridges includes many links to more information, including an article about a Harvard student Apple is suing and a case the Electronic Frontier Foundation is defending. At issue is whether the bloggers will need to reveal their sources. It sounds like they/we need a shield law, too.
(I’ve been working on too many wikis lately. I just want to put the Electronic Frontier Foundation in brackets and have it link automatically.)
