Skype: Make Calls from Computer to Computer for Free
I’ve heard some positive buzz about Skype, a program that allows people to talk to other Skype users for free over the Internet, much like a phone call. I have to use it this weekend for a project, so I’ve downloaded and installed it. Now, I just need to find someone to talk to.
It is indeed amusing how using newish software to do a routine thing, here: placing a telephone call, can make it seem like a totally novel and exciting experience.
