SciFi Group Investigates Vanity Publisher
Within minutes of the news about a science fiction group investigating a vanity publisher appearing on Slashdot, two people IMed me about it. I chuckled when I saw it as Sunday’s Library Link of the Day.
No, this story doesn’t really have anything to do with scholarly publishing directly, but I don’t exactly have a good place to stick something that’s about publishing. With vanity publishing becoming a possibility for scholarly work, will the same sort of thing happen there?
