Recognition from The Information Advisor

According to a news librarian friend, The Information Advisor highlights this weblog as a great source of information about librarianship.

Wow! I had no idea. I hadn’t heard anything about it until my colleague shared the news.

And the great irony is that I can’t find the article online. The newsletter doesn’t seem to be available on the Web and it isn’t in LexisNexis yet.

Addendum: A very kind soul faxed the article to me. It’s just a 3/4 page piece highlighting four weblogs that “have something truly valuable to say” about news, media, technology, and online information. My eyes bugged out when I saw j’s scratchpad in the same list as 3 A-list, popular bloggers. I think they’re going to print a retraction next month to protect the reputation of the other bloggers. The A-list weblogs are also very much worth a visit and probably a stay: RConversation by Rebecca MacKinnon, Jay Rosen’s PressThink, and Joi Ito.

I feel fortunate to have met all of them in real life.

(If you’re going to search for this article in a database, note that The Information Advisor spells Rebecca’s last name McKinnon and they use my full name instead of what I go by. My blog’s name looks so funny capitalized.)
