The Oral Tradition
Speaking of reading, I went to a gathering where people read books, stories, poems, and other items aloud. I used to do this sort of thing quite a bit in high school and have missed it. I listened to passages from quite a few authors I haven’t read before. It’s a great way to get a snippet of a book.
I understand some people usually read children’s books there, too. I brought some, but I didn’t read.
