If the bloggers come out of the walls, then it’s all over.
I finally read “The Wolves in the Walls” by Neil Gaiman (nifty Web site with lots of Flash). (Yes, that’s right! I read a book! Write the day down in history!) I find something gripping, magical, and consuming in the way he creates the worlds where his kids books happen. It makes me think of what people say about Gabriel Garcia Marquez, someone else I need to read more of. I particularly love the second dedication. And, of course, the art work rocks.
I need to procure a copy.
Addendum: The **best** thing just happened to me.
v: “Did you get a copy of the book yet?”
j: “Well, I borrowed one from a friend, but I haven’t bought my own copy yet.”
v: “Well, here.” She hands me the book.
j: “I can’t accept a book from you!”
v: “Sure you can!”
So I started reading it to the guy next to me at the meeting, beginning with the second dedication.
Thank you, v!
