Hours after someone asked me about Wikipedia because of the button I wear, I overheard a conversation where one guy was trying to explain Wikipedia to another. I considered trying to enter the conversation, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it without appearing rude. Besides, I really enjoyed the guy’s very nontechnical explanation of what wikis are and what Wikipedia is. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but I remember thinking, “Yeah! That’s a great way to explain it!”
