ZABA Search

A few news librarians mentioned the pros and cons of this people locator service on Newslib. It retrieves past and current addresses, telephone numbers, and birth month and years. The current and past addresses are not labeled as such. Several librarians indicated they were able to find accurate data while others found errors, including incorrect birth dates. Since the service seems to be built on top of public records data, it makes me wonder if the error is really with the search engine or an error on a public record somewhere. The engine says it will only be online until March 31.

I don’t know how the rest of the world feels but I would like my personal info. and that of my husband’s removed from all search engines
that is just too much info for anyone with bad
intentions like id theft, stalkers etc.So how is our personal info removed? Anyone that we would like to know where we are knows how to find and contact us. What about the rights of the people?

I tried replying to your e-mail using both addresses you provided, but each one bounced.

I don’t know how you can remove your personal information from any of the search engines that provide it. Perhaps the staff of a search engine can tell you.
