LISNews has 4000 subscribers?!?
Wow. I figured their numbers were much higher–not that 4,000 is awful. It’s just that, well, as of today, the local system says the scratchpad has 4129 subscribers and Bloglines says there are 115. I wonder if LISNews’ count includes their Bloglines readers, who number well over 700.
I refuse to believe I’m that close to LISNews. I mean, they’re A-list and everything and no one’s heard of me.
I’m sure our page hits vary and they have much more traffic.
Still, I wouldn’t have thought I was close to them in numbers. Scary.
**j imagines mob of blog readers at the next conference, sticks head in a hole in the ground.
Anyway, congratulations folks at LISNews on reaching that milestone! May your subscriber pool continue to grow and may all of your readers be pleased with your content.

I’m wondering if they meant that LISNews has 4000 registered users, not subscribers via feeds.

Via bloglines, LISNews has 56 subscribers and, as tangognat pointed out, over 4000 registered users. Still, Blake’s stats are mind-boggling! Here’s what he’s got for June:
