Aggregator Magically Dropped Feeds, Still not Getting Feeds

I was thinking the aggregator was still struggling with whatever technical problems it experienced last weekend because I was only seeing a few feeds to which I subscribe. When I checked my subscription list, I noticed I was no longer subscribed to a number of sources. Renewing my subscriptions didn’t seem to work, though. Two posts have sat stagnant at the bottom of the page for a few days while feeds from some other blogs and comics remain absent. (Yeah, no comics. My long-term readers know I get cranky when I miss my comics. If it wasn’t for the Get Fuzzy calendar hanging on the wall above my desk, my hands would probably be shaking by now.)

Another great use for Share Your OPML is to keep track of subscriptions for yourself. Since I update my file on this service fairly frequently, I should have been able to figure out to what I was subscribed were there no technical difficulties. (Thank you, Murphy.) (Look! I can break more than just Feedster and Frassle!) I can’t see a list of anyone’s subscriptions and the way the layout of the page changes, it seems to be some sort of code problem, especially since it happens in several browsers.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to upload an OPML file into this installation of Manila. Otherwise, I could just do that instead resubscribing to about 60 things by hand. Oh, well. It’s not like I don’t have many other things to do besides blogging. Maybe I will work on my taxes …

Thanks for noting the problem. I thought my aggregator (the blogs reader within Thunderbird within Mozilla) was broken since I wasn’t getting any of my feeds from Harvard’s Manila site.
