My Orkut profile now has a picture.

I’ve had a stack of photos for scanning for a while. When I went through them looking for another photo, I paused at one and asked, “Why wouldn’t this work?” I couldn’t come up with a good answer, so there it is. I think I’ve had my profile for more than a year and I’m just now sticking a photo on it. I need to find something that’ll work for the news librarian community. The problem, of course, is finding one image that’ll work for news librarianship. I’m thinking of putting up something related to food. But what kind of food?
(Of course, some of you will argue the picture I posted has to do with food, but I certainly wasn’t thinking of that when I put it up there. Some of you will whine that it’s not quite the right … likeness. I’ve decided I need to take a trip to get a proper photograph.)
Addendum: I downloaded the photo from Orkut to check the IPTC data and it’s not there anymore. I wonder if it gets stripped out on the uploading and if that’s intentional. Wow.
