I love how when I print directions from Google Maps, the line showing the route doesn’t show on the print out. I imagine it’s just a printer issue, but I still think it’s hilarious.

It’s not your printer – it’s probably the most annoying bug in Google Maps, although I believe it’s more to do with the way the browser handles the transparent overlay image which is used to put your route onto the map. Try a different browser – if you’re on IE try Firefox, and vice versa
