2 New Books about Feeds

Someone asked me yesterday if I could program a feed for her Web site. I don’t know how to do that yet. I snickered when Rich randomly sent me an e-mail mentioning these books:

Ben Hammersley
Developing feeds with RSS and Atom
O’Reilly 2005
0596008813

Danny Ayers
Beginning RSS and Atom programming
Wrox 2005
0764579169

Maybe I’ll have to check them out!

Please do! I’ve not seen Ben’s book yet, but he’s usually excellent. I personally think the other one’s ok too ;-)

(What kind of site does the person have, btw? I’ve probably got bookmarks that might be useful).

Hey Danny! Thanks for your thoughts!

I don’t know what content for which she wants to use an XML feed. Since I knew immediately it wasn’t something I could help her with, I didn’t ask too many questions.
