This is a fairly substantial move forward for academic libraries. For a whole crop of students who barely know what the library is but are Google wizards, or for students who are wholely unaware of the resources available to them through their university, this will drive them into our libraries, be it electronically or physically. More access points are better than less.
Once again, Google walks on the side of benevolent information server.
