2005 SLA Salary Survey
Completing the 2005 SLA Salary Survey took me about fifteen minutes. The data is used to compile a guide many of our colleagues use as a tool to set compensation and negotiate for better pay and benefits. If you are an SLA member, please complete the survey.
My rant from last year still holds. SLA really needs to add a category for solo librarians on their job responsibilities page. I wonder if having a number of selections where people could indicate whether they’re management or not and then check off the tasks they do would work better than their current list of job titles and tasks.
