Laptop Down
As if having impaired wrists wasn’t going to be a big enough hurdle for me to teach at, correspond from, and maintain some Web pages about the Special Libraries Association 2005 Annual Conference, my laptop just decided to stop working. I can’t even get it to boot anymore. After spending some time on the phone with some very kind friends knowledgeable about computers, it’s time for me to lug it to a repair shop. I doubt I will get it back in time for this weekend.
At least I hadn’t gotten too far in the creation of my presentation or lesson I’m giving on Sunday. Sometimes, procrastination pays off.
