Someone Congratulate the News Division Awards Winners for Me, Please
I wish I could be there tonight, especially because Ron Larson, one of the awardees, was my mentor in grad school. This banquet is the first one I’ve missed since I started going to the SLA Annual Conferences five years ago. I’d love to know what people say about Alice, Ron, and Richard in their presentations. I’m also sorry I missed meeting Andrea this year.

People can say what they want about Richard being Kwapiled for his career as a news researcher and his participation in SLA and News Division activities, but we really know it’s for his wonderful musical talent and bringing the gift of music to the News Division suite during conferences.
