Words I’ve Taught the VR Software Today
I’m considering posting a list of words I add to the voice recognition software as a regular feature to my weblog just for fun. I’m amazed at what I have to teach it because I didn’t think my vocabulary was so specialized, but the words I commonly use, especially when I blog, it doesn’t know.
lol
NewsliBlog
j’s scratchpad
seeks cheeks cheeks cheeks geeks w00t!
yea
yeah
to will Google
target=”_window”
Some of the words and pronunciations it already knows impresses me greatly, like Shimon and Worcester, which I pronounce Wuhstah.
Addendum: Christina asked how I get it to do some of the code. I can program the software to print certain things I say, so I thought about what to say to get it to print some of the code. Right now, it isn’t programed to print brackets. I’ll probably do that later. I say a href to get , HTML break for
, and target window for target=”_window”. I’ll add more code as I go along. Saying new line gets me a line break in several apps, so that won’t work for
.

Oh, hey, adding what I say to get it to do code is a good idea! I’ll do that above.
