Two Aggregators from the Internet Scout Report: Tristana and Newsplorer

Friday’s Internet Scout Report describes Tristana Reader 4.0 as a tool people can use to easily pull content from the Web to their computers. It’s a free aggregator for Windows machines that handles podcasts, RSS and Atom feeds, and other content. The company also makes Tristana Writer, a way to create feeds, and Tristana Publisher, which allows publishers to distribute a branded aggregator to their subscribers.

The text on the site gives great explanations about the power of feeds and why people should use them to distribute and consume content.

The February 4th Internet Scout Report mentions Newsplorer, another free Windows aggregator that includes bundled news sources which it sorts.

Feed Editor better than Tristana Writer and FeedForAll. I’m using it more than 7 months… I’m highly recommended Feed Editor for making RSS feeds and podcasts.
