Demand for AV Materials Stuns Library System
The Cambridge Chronicle editorializes about the Minuteman Library System’s changes due to an increasing amount of requests for audio and visual materials via their delivery service. I was just talking to someone over the weekend who remarked how sad she thinks it is that many people use libraries just for their videos and Internet connections. A friend of mine suggested budget and staff cuts might have contributed to the problem the Metro West Regional Library and Minuteman Library Systems face handling increasing requests.
