I found the portrayal of the Vatican archives in Dan Brown’s Angels & Demons quite fascinating. I have no idea how the described archives reflects reality. However, the book is not for those of you who are faint of heart when it comes to archives and special texts. In the course of the story, the facility receivees some damage and loses one of its key documents.
