Librarians Pose for Calendar
Some Wisconsin librarians had the idea of posing for a calendar as a farewell present to a retiring colleague. The cost of the project made them rethink their plan. They decided to sell calendars to the public as a way to raise funds for their libraries.
Some British librarians undertook a similar project in December 2003.
I noticed this item on a discussion list on Monday and kept forgetting to post about it, even after several subsequent discussions on various lists and an e-mail from Amy Disch. Thanks for the nudging!
