someone asked me tonight, which reminded me I hadn’t yet posted the notes I took about the talks. They’re linked from above.
I mention a few things I forgot to say and review the talks.

A bit OT: I was wondering about all those people talking like pirates in my office this week. I was somewhat distressed by the phenomenon, having been completely out-ot-the-loop regarding its origins. I actually thought there was a massive conversion to Pastafarianism in the metro-Boston area, resulting in people really getting into the spirit of donning full pirate regalia.
As it turns out, I am still the only one who’s been Touched By His Noodly Appendage in my workplace. A shame, that.

I’ve been wearing a bandana to the contradances this week to honor Talk Like a Pirate Day. (The band on Monday played something that sounded like “What shall we do with the drunken sailor.”) I could have been eating pasta, too! Why didn’t I think of that?!?
