Banned Books Week, one of my favorite librarian, uh, holiweeks(?), celebrations(?), occassions(?), begins Saturday, September 24, and goes through Saturday, October 1. The American Library Association has lots of materials for the week (linked above), including a list of popularly challenged books between 1990 and 2000.
