A Bit More on the Blogging in Business/Advertising Design Master’s Thesis
James Torio, who wrote his master’s thesis about blogs as tools in business, shares some stats regarding downloads of and site visits to his thesis. Hugh of gapingvoid reports the numbers, too.
The hard numbers show how blogs can increase site traffic. How would we have found his thesis otherwise? I probably would not have seen it or perhaps even known about it without Hugh’s link.
James commented about it because of my pointer to his thesis, but it’s not attached to the blog post. He wrote:
"Hi– Thanks for the link, I will be conducting a survey at everyhuman.com to see what bloggers are doing to draw traffic to their sites. I would love your feedback, all are invited to particpate. Please spread the word. Regards James"
I visited his blog to see if the survey is available yet, but I didn’t find it. I found instead some interesting posts about various aspects of advertizing and blogs. Some of you might like to read drawing traffic to your blog, which includes some data from his work coupled with actions that worked for him.
"Commenting/ TrackBacking on other Blogs is essential for drawing traffic, especially if you are just starting out. … ‘At the end of the day Blogs are a conversation.’”
