Feeding Frenzy in Wisconsin

I absolutely /love/ the title for this program about XML feeds for the Special Libraries Association Wisconsin Chapter on Wednesday, October 19 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. And, yes, there will be food. Someone said I’d be pleased with the selection of desserts.

From 11 am to about 1 pm that day, I’ll be meeting with students, especially those in the SLA student chapter, on the Terrace (weather permitting) for an informal drop-in lunch chat about special librarianship and other topics. They probably won’t mind if other information professionals happen to show up.

I heard plans are shaping up for a trip to get frozen custard (!!!!) at around 3 pm that afternoon.

I think one of the best things about speaking at a university with a library and information science program is being able to meet with the students. I really look forward to it. I did it last year and had a blast.

Anyone want me to speak to a class while I’m there?
