Feeds to E-mail
I love it when things like this happen: A client asked me about the possibility of converting XML feeds to e-mail, which is something I was going to look up for an upcoming talk anyway. Here are some tools I found, most of which come from two posts on The Distant Librarian, who wondered the same thing in April and May.

Two of these are self-contained services. Two involve scripts you need to run on your own machine. Some allow bloggers to create a subscription box on their site for their readers who wish to get a feed via e-mail.
Bloglet only seems to work for site owners. They put a subscription box on their Web site and people interested in getting an e-mail update can get one.
Paul, the Distant Librarian, also mentions some services that just notify someone via e-mail when the site has been updated.

It was tucked down in one of the trackbacks, but another service that’s really simple to use and with which I’ve become increasingly impressed is Feedblitz – http://www.feedblitz.com/
