Reminder: Feeding Frenzy in Wisconsin, Registration Deadline Monday (10/17)
There’s way too much space at my upcoming talk in Madison, Wisconsin. If you know nothing about feeds or if you think you know everything about feeds, you’ll probably (hopefully) learn something. It’s not going to be another introduction to blogs and feeds. I’m going to focus strictly on feeds and some of the neat things people and libraries are doing with them. It builds on the presentation I gave last year. It’s a great opportunity for you to share what you’re doing with feeds and learn about other’s experiences with them. Last year, we had a great discussion. It was much less me standing in front of an audience running my mouth and much more of a discussion among colleagues. I hope it’ll be like that again.
I’ll be out on the Terrace or in the Union between 11 am and 1 pm to meet with students that afternoon, too. If you’re a student or a professional, come join us. It’ll be fun. It might also be one opportunity I get to talk about my job and not blogging. = ) (Yeah, we’ll see how long that lasts.)
Addendum 10/14: Gwen and I are meeting in the SLIS Commons around 11 am, then walking over to the Union. Join us in either place.
