Blogging: What Every Librarian Should Know; Lunch Discussion at Harvard’s Lamont Library Forum Room, 11/14, 12 p
Garrett Eastman, the librarian at the Rowland Institute of Harvard, and I will make a presentation about blogs on behalf of the Professional Development Committee serving Harvard librarians on Monday, November 14, from 12 to 1:30 pm in the Lamont Library Forum Room. I think the talk is open to anyone who is able to get inside Lamont Library.
I’m kinda excited about it because I get to talk about the intersection of blogging and employment–something I deal with daily, but don’t get to say much about usually. I’m also, of course going to plug the blog group. I think this is the first Harvard group I’ll be addressing in almost a year besides the blog group and my presentation at Children’s Hospital for a local professional association in September. It’s ironic when you think about the fact that I work at Harvard. Seems like I’d be speaking there more …
I don’t know what Garrett’s topic is. He’s a great presenter. Come see him.
