gapingvoid Blogcards

Last night, I overheard someone say a quote I recognize from gapingvoid:

"The price of being a sheep is boredom.
The price of
being a wolf is loneliness.
Choose one or the other with great care."

“Oh, you read gapingvoid?” I asked.
“gapingvoid? What’s that?” he asked.
“It’s a blog with lots of cool comics. I recognize the quote from one of the drawings.”
“I’ve never heard of that. I just saw it on someone’s business card.”
“Oh, perhaps it’s a business card from gapingvoid, then.”
“She should know,” interjected a third, “She writes about gapingvoid all the time.”

During Susan Herzog’s talk this morning, she mentioned using cards to market weblogs. You can order some from gapingvoid with, perhaps, an illustration of your choice. Or you can do what I did and buy the cheapest business card stationery you can find and print your own.
Want one? Maybe I can scan one in later and you can print it out and cut it out. A better way might be to find me to ask me for one. They’re really lame. They need some kind of cartoon to make them interesting.
