The Internet Librarian Calculator
So, I’m at a fabulous NELINET program today about blogs, wikis, feeds, and mobile technology. Susan Herzog is speaking now about blogs. (She’s awesome, by the way. I heard she’s speaking again in December.) She just made a point about how people can blog all over the place. She told some stories about bloggers blogging Internet Librarian, a recent conference I haven’t said much about because I haven’t been blogging much lately. She also mentioned the flikr photos of librarians with giant calculators they received as gifts for presenting and said how we could find them. I did the search she suggested in Google and found this great photo of Jessamyn with a giant calculator. I’m sitting in the front row because I got lost and was late to the talk, so I held my laptop up so the man sitting behind me could see the photo.
Susan talked about her annotated list of librarian weblogs, a fabulous resource I forgot about it. Not sure which blogs to read? Start here to get some ideas.
By the way, Susan also admits having lots of blogs. She uses them for presentations, too.
