Young Woman’s Dream of a Children’s Library Comes True
Check out this bit of great news from LISNews: A 12-year-old Ohio Girl Scout’s dream of a children’s library in her town is becoming a reality. Having already collected 6,000 books, she needed some place to put them. The NBC television show Three Wishes contacted Brodart, a company known for its library supplies and furnishings, to help out. The story should be featured on the November 11 edition of the show.
This piece of news is slightly off topic, but I figured if you’ve been through a rough few weeks like I have, you could use the smile, too. Is there a better way to give the gift of reading?
