Another List of Librarian Blogs

Steven Cohen has an awesome list of librarian blogs at PubSub. It includes a status based on linking, too, which gives some rough idea about importance or the number of readers or popularity or something like that. The list includes some established favorites, like ResourceShelf, as well as lots of blogs I hadn’t heard of before, which doesn’t surprise me much. Maybe there really is a weblog for every topic in librarianship …

My favorite thing about the list is that you can get it as an OPML file. (That’s outline processor markup language and it shouldn’t be on the final exam.) It’s a format some aggregators and other software use. I can download the list, plug it into one of my aggregators, and subscribe to all of the blogs.

The only blog of mine I saw on the list is NewsliBlog, which, in all honesty, surprised me ’cause I didn’t think anyone except maybe Liz, Amy, and I read it. ha ha ha

Yay Eli and Christina!

noticed on LISNews, which is also on the list

Which blogs of yours (that are library related) aren’t on the list? I’ll add them.
