Committee on the Portrayal of Librarians?
I heard a blip on an October Weekend America about a committee that’s part of the American Psychological Association that focuses on the portrayal of those professionals in films. It’s a way of monitoring the stereotype in order to counteract it. Is there something like that for librarians? Do we need one?
