Dan Gillmor (2/13) and Cory Doctorow (2/15) Speak at Harvard
Two exciting presenters, Dan Gillmor and Cory Doctorow, will be at Harvard next week. Dan speaks on Monday (2/13). Cory speaks on Wednesday (2/15).
- Dan Gillmor on Monday (2/13) – “We the Media: The Rise of Grassroots, Open-Source Journalism, and the Coming Era of the Citizen Activist,” 7 pm, Kennedy School of Government, Malkin Penthouse, 4th floor Littauer Building (which is different from Littauer Center)
- Cory Doctorow on Wednesday (2/15) – “Set Top Cop: Hollywood’s Secret War on Your Living Room,” Wednesday, Feb. 15, 6 pm, 105 Emerson Hall, Harvard College
If you feel torn between going to Dan Gillmor’s talk and the Wikipedia talk on Monday … I encourage you to go to Dan’s presentation. The Wikipedia event will be fabulous, but sj and I are pretty easy to find and we’ll always be yammerin’ about this tech stuff. Dan’s from out of town.
I’m not sure that sj will agree with me about that, but those are my thoughts.
