San Francisco Examiner Archives go to UC Berkeley’s Bancroft Library

An invaluable gift: The Anschutz Corporation is donating more than 5 million items from the San Francisco Examiner’s archives to the Bancroft Library at the University of California-Berkeley. Already holding many items related to California’s history, the library’s collection will now have some excellent primary source materials from the newspaper.
