Wow! Podcast Feeds are Easy!
Pardon me while I have one of those “Well, duh” mixed with “It’s about time” moments. For fun, I hand coded a podcast feed. Not too bad.
Yeah, I’m definitely the kind of person who learns by doing.
I admit that I cheated. I took a feed from a different podcast and rewrote it. For the real thing, I should look at a guide. I just wanted to show some people that it’s possible to do easily.
I think it took me longer to subscribe to the feed in three aggregators than it did for me code it. Another reason to use desktop aggregators: testing your own XML feeds.
The difficult part is making a sound file that sounds really good.
