The Museum of Science Podcasts!

I went to a really cool event Monday night at the Museum of Science about science news. As part of the event, one of the presenters mentioned the museum’s podcasts. After the event, I had the opportunity to talk to her. She mentioned she was interested in networking with more bloggers, so I told her about the blog group and how we’d love to have someone from the MOS talk to us. Through a strange twist of events, that’s happening tonight. Adam from the MOS is here. Our scheduled guest speaker, Scott Johnson from Ookles is not. So, Adam is graciously giving us a look at what the museum is doing and why. I find it quite interesting.

The Current Science & Technology section of their site also includes videos that run on a local cable channel. I think that’s really clever because then people like me who don’t have cable can still watch the videos.

Learning about Ookles would have been cool, too. Perhaps another time when Scott’s family is in better health. Well wishes to you!
